By accessing or using EverySongBy.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions with THE CO UNIVERSE LTD, trading as EverySongBy. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.

In these terms, “EverySongBy”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to THE CO UNIVERSE LTD when it operates the EverySongBy website and brand.

These terms apply to the public website, artist catalogues, blog articles, search and filtering tools, comments, contact messages, correction submissions and any other feature that links to them.

Additional terms may apply if EverySongBy later introduces paid services, memberships, competitions, accounts or other features. Those additional terms will be shown before the relevant service is used.

EverySongBy researches and organises artist recording histories. It is not an official website of the artists, songwriters, producers, labels, publishers, estates, chart organisations or streaming services mentioned unless a relationship is expressly stated.

References to artists, recordings, releases, brands and third-party services are used for identification, reporting, criticism, review, research and catalogue purposes.

Editorial content and accuracy

EverySongBy aims to provide careful, clearly classified music research. However, recording histories can involve incomplete credits, changing release information, conflicting sources, regional differences, working titles, uncertain dates and disputed material.

Catalogue content is provided for general information, research and editorial purposes. It is not a guarantee that every title, date, credit, status, classification, chart figure or description is complete or error-free.

Information may be added, corrected, consolidated, reclassified or removed when stronger evidence becomes available. An audit date shows when a catalogue was last reviewed, not that every fact became permanently final on that date.

Nothing on the website is legal, financial, medical, investment or other professional advice. You should verify important information through suitable primary or professional sources before relying on it.

Catalogue classifications and editorial judgement

EverySongBy separates recordings by the nature of the artist’s involvement and the evidence supporting the entry. Categories may include official releases, features and collaborations, backing or brief vocals, samples and reused vocals, demos, public performances, circulating recordings, documented unreleased titles and related or unconfirmed credits.

Labels such as full demo, partial demo, excerpt, snippet only, recording unconfirmed or vocal involvement unconfirmed are editorial descriptions. They communicate what the available evidence appears to support and are not statements by an artist, label or rights holder unless specifically attributed.

Decisions about whether two versions are separate recordings, whether a title duplicates another entry or whether a contribution is lead, featured, backing, sampled or project-only involve editorial judgement. Reasonable researchers may sometimes reach different conclusions.

Unreleased, leaked and circulating material

EverySongBy may document the reported existence, history, title, session, intended performer, circulation date or status of unreleased material when it has catalogue value.

Inclusion does not mean that EverySongBy possesses the recording, confirms every claim attached to it, endorses its unauthorised distribution or suggests that it was intended for public release.

You must not use the website to upload, request, offer, trade or link to leaked, stolen or otherwise unauthorised audio. Submissions containing such links may be removed without publication or response.

EverySongBy does not claim ownership of third-party sound recordings and does not grant permission to copy, distribute or exploit them.

Permitted use of the website

You may use the website for lawful personal, educational, journalistic and research purposes.

Subject to these terms and applicable law, you may:

Third-party material

Artist names, song titles, album titles, lyrics, artwork, photographs, audio, video, trademarks, logos and other third-party material belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the site does not transfer those rights to EverySongBy.

Lawful exceptions remain available

Large-scale copying and republication

You may not reproduce, mirror, sell, license, republish or make a competing database from all or a substantial part of the website without written permission from THE CO UNIVERSE LTD, except where applicable law expressly permits the activity.

Ordinary search-engine indexing, accessibility technology and reasonable non-commercial research use are not prohibited by this section.

Comments, corrections and other submissions

You remain responsible for material you submit through comments, contact forms, correction forms or other website features.

By submitting material, you confirm that:

• You have the right to share it.
• It is not knowingly false, defamatory, unlawful, abusive or misleading.
• It does not disclose somebody else’s private information without a lawful reason.
• It does not contain unauthorised audio, download links or malicious files.

Any advertising, sponsorship or affiliate relationship introduced on the site should be identified where required. Commercial arrangements do not determine catalogue classifications or editorial conclusions.
